In order to ensure the safety performance, safety operations of the double girder gantry crane, need to regularly point inspect the gantry crane work. In the point inspection, the main inspect point is the force parts, safety devices and other key parts.

The double girder gantry crane point inspection includes:

1. Check the gantry crane limit brake nut, positioning plate is fastened or not, check the brake wheel's bolts are loose or not; check the brake is sensitive and reliable to ensure the brake opening is lower than 1.0 mm, and the two sides of the brake wheel is equal.

2. Check the limiter and other safety devices to ensure they are sensitive and reliable enough, especially the rise limiter.

3. Check the gantry crane lubrication parts is with dirt or not, clean and add or replace the oil.

4. Check the wire rope is not knotted, twisted phenomenon and obvious wear and tear, when the wear and tear meet the retirement standards, should be replaced in a timely manner.

5. Check if there is no abnormal sound during the operating agencies running.
