If the mobile gantry cranes wire rope diameter wear greater than 40% of the original specifications, should replace, if less than 40%, according to the number of broken wire to assess whether the wire rope to meet the scrap standards.

In a Wire rope twist length, the number of broken wire reach 10% of the total number, it should be scrapped. for example, the wire rope is 6 * 37 type, the total number of wires is 222, when the broken wire reach 22, it should be scrapped and replaced. If the wire rope is coarse and thin wire mixed, when calculate the broken wire, the thick wire should be taken as a 1.7.
