In the selection of gantry crane, you can start from the following aspects:
1. single beam or double beam
Gantry cranes can be divided into single girder gantry crane, double girder gantry crane. Usually, the lifting capacity is not more than 30t, the span is not more than 35m, should choose single girder gantry crane. If lifting heavier weight, longer length of heavy objects, should double girder gantry crane.
2. Span, cantilever length
On the base of meeting the use, plant structure, to choose small span gantry crane.
3. Determine the appropriate track.
4. Steel support legs can allow heavy objects to pass.
5. Space
Gantry crane spacing should combine the actual situation of the job site. When the vehicle passes through the gantry crane, keep a distance of 0.7m or more with the both support legs. If not working, spreaders and passing vehicles should maintain the spacing of not less than 0.5m.
